Media ReleaseSort by Date Queensland airborne magnetic data and map releaseFor immediate release, Monday 17 February 2003 A levelled airborne magnetic grid over the entire onshore Queensland area and offshore is being jointly released by the Geological Survey of Queensland and Geoscience Australia on 17 February 2003. The composite grid has a resolution of 250m. An enhanced magnetic pixel-image map (A0 size) of the same area at 1:2 500 000 scale is also being released. The Queensland airborne magnetic composite grid includes data acquired by the Geological Survey of Queensland and Geoscience Australia, as well as data acquired by private companies and now in the public domain. www.ga.gov.au
