Minerals Seminar 2004

Up-to-date results from Geoscience Australia's minerals program will be presented at a one-day seminar in Perth on 29 November.
Scientists from Geoscience Australia will give presentations featuring:
- regional geology and prospectivity of the Yilgarn and Gawler Cratons and the Tanami region;
- Australian mineral systems, resources and potential, especially for gold and nickel;
- gravity mapping and 3D geology for exploration under cover; and
- the new Paterson Province and Proterozoic synthesis projects.
Minerals Division Chief, Dr Chris Pigram, will provide delegates with an opportunity to have input to the future direction of Minerals Division's program.
