Come and see us at Science in the City

21 July 2005

Science in the City at the Australian Museum is a celebration of the contributions of science to society, and is Sydney's largest science event.

Culminating in National Science Week, the event provides students with a fantastic opportunity to get involved in science and see the huge variety of career opportunities available in the field.

The Education Team from Geoscience Australia will be participating in the primary school program from August 9-11. Our exhibit will provide school teachers and students with an insight into Geoscience Australia's role, and offer some examples of products and hands-on activities produced by the Education Centre. You can view spectacular maps and 3D imagery, hold a meteorite or crystal in your hand, and find out about visiting the Education Centre in Canberra.

To find out more about Geoscience Australia, come and visit us on 21 August when we hold our annual Science Week Open Day event.
