Geoscience Australia is pleased to present the 2011 Top GeoShot photo competition.

We are looking for a collection of photographs that capture the essence of Earth science. The image can be anything from an unusual land formation, a link to our dynamic planet or even your favourite landscape. Be as creative as you like when choosing subject matter as Earth science is all around us and we interact with it everyday.

The closing date for entries is Friday 23 September 2011.

Winning entries will be displayed at Geoscience Australia throughout Earth Science Week (9-15 October 2011), and winners will receive a professionally framed enlargement of their image.

For more information on the photo competition, please visit the Top Geoshot webpage or contact the Geoscience Australia Education Team on 02 6249 9673 or education@ga.gov.au.
