Library access and customer service standard

If you contact the library:

By post, email or fax, library staff will:

  • respond within five working days of receipt or let you know when you will receive a final response, and
  • give you contact details for further queries.

By telephone, library staff will:

  • identify themselves by name, handle your call between the hours of 9am and 5pm each working day, and
  • return calls within one working day.
