NOTICES

Reference Frame status in AUSPOS solutions

AUSPOS continues to use ITRF2000 coordinates for the reference sites and relative receiver antenna phase centre modelling. IGS products (satellite ephemeris and Earth Orientation Parameters) in the ITRF2005 reference frame are used for all customer submitted sites with data observed after Saturday, 4th November 2006.

AUSPOS failure with C2 observations in RINEX files

Please note that AUSPOS fails and issues an error message for RINEX files containing any C2 observable data. Customers should remove the C2 data from their RINEX files before submitting to AUSPOS. Software is available at the UNAVCO Facility TEQC web site for editing RINEX files.

AUSPOS error message "unable to fetch ...."

If you receive the AUSPOS error message "unable to fetch ...." we suggest you attempt a re-submission after removing any embedded blank characters in your GPS data file name and/or the directory path name.

Next version of AUSPOS

The next version of AUSPOS should be available to customers by mid 2008. The next version will be processing results in ITRF2005 and will be able to screen out "faulty" data at an earlier stage. In addition, the processing time per job will decrease.
