AUSGeoid09 Application |
The national AUSGeoid09 grid file, state files and 1:250,000 map sheet files can be downloaded from Geoscience Australia's ftp server. These files can be used to compute AHD heights in real time when used in Real Time Kinematic GNSS receivers. |

The Australian Fiducial Network (AFN) consists of eight permanent, continuously operating, Geodetic GPS receivers on the Australian mainland and Tasmania. The network was initially observed during the International GPS Service for Geodynamics (IGS) Epoch '92 campaign, July-August, 1992. The AFN, in conjunction with additional sites beyond the Australian mainland, forms the Australian Regional GPS Network (ARGN). |

Now VLBI observations measure the motions of stations with accuracy better than 1mm/year together with other space geodetic techniques such as Global Positioning System (GPS) and Satellite Laser Ranging (SLR) Analysis. |
