This image shows two major rivers running down the centre and a third one on the far right. Liquica lies between the two major rivers.

The ETM Plus Sensor on board the Landsat 7 satellite can detect infrared radiation which is generated by any form of heat. These 'hot spots' show up as red areas on the image. They can be caused by elements such as fire, tin roofs, concrete slabs and cars.

The bright green areas indicate healthy grasses and agricultural cultivation. Bare soil shows up as pink/brown. The dark blue area at the top of the image is the ocean.
