The Geologi short film competition (Geologi2010) is hosted by Geoscience Australia and the Australian Science Teachers Association to celebrate Earth Science Week. All Australian primary and secondary schools are invited to submit a short film highlighting the role Earth Science plays in our interactions with an "Ever-changing Earth ".

Please ensure that submitted entries comply with the specified terms of conditions and technical requirements. Each individual entry must have a complete entry and declaration form [PDF 146KB] attached.
The judging panel consists of scientists, science communicators and science teachers. Films are judged primarily on the accuracy and originality of the science theme and message. The following criteria are used to judge submitted films, with each criterion assessed out of 10.
It's a good idea to write a script and shooting plan before you start.
