Geologi Short Film Competition

The annual Geologi short flim competition is hosted by Geoscience Australia and the Australian Science Teachers Association to celebrate Earth Science Week. It is open to all Australian primary and secondary schools.

Future entrants

Information and tips about the Geologi10 competition will be published in February 2010. Any individual, class or group can enter a short film that relates to a different Earth science theme each year. There are three age divisions:

Geologi winners

Judging criteria

The judging panel consists of scientists and science teachers. Films are judged primarily on the accuracy and originality of the science theme and message. The following criteria are used to judge submitted films, with each criterion assessed out of 10.
