The winners of the Geologi08 short film competition were announced on 17 October 2008 to conclude Australian celebrations for Earth Science Week 2008. Over 200 students participated, with entries from Western Australia, Queensland, South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.
Students had to submit a film based on one of three themes: Natural Hazards, Earth's Resources or Deep Earth. We received films about volcanos, geysers, rock types and mineral resources.
