ARGN Site Information

Australian Regional GPS Network

Information about each site in the ARGN is maintained as an IGS site log, which shows current and historical information about the site and the equipment used there.

Site log information

• The site log filename is composed of the 4-digit station identifier, followed by the 2-digit month and 2-digit year (eg ALIC0498.LOG is the site log for Alice Springs, prepared in April 1998).
• Select a site log from station names.
• IGS site logs may need a file editor that allows Unix files to be viewed on a PC. Programmer's File Editor or EditPad are both suitable.
