Site Information

DAV1 Station mark [gif_32k] is the centre of a 5/8 inch threaded spigot centred on a stainless steel plate. The plate is secured into rock by a 25mm diameter central steel stem and three bolts fixed to the outer edge of the plate. The station is located on high ground south of the Davis Antarctic Research Station.
