Site Information

STR1 Station mark [gif_29k] is a stainless steel plate and centred 5/8 inch threaded spigot mounted on top of the north calibration pillar at the Mt Stromlo Satellite Laser Ranging Station. STR1 is mounted 183mm directly above a laser calibration target mount known as AU046. The station is located approximately 15km west of Canberra.
