HEARD ISLAND GEODETIC NETWORK Geoscience Australia, National Mapping Division - NATIONAL GEODETIC DATA BASE - 27 November 2001 Datum: ITRF2000 at an epoch of 1 January 2000 (2000.0) ITRF2000 is a global reference frame which, has an accuracy of better than a centimetre. The accuracy of individual stations relative to this frame is indicated by the POSITIONAL UNCERTAINTY ("Uncert"). Positional Uncertainty is the uncertainty of the horizontal position or height of a point, in metres, at the 95% confidence level, with respect to the defined reference frame. The CLASS of a position is a measure of the quality of the survey design & techniques used and the ORDER is an indication of the relative accuracy (where the Positional Uncertainty has not been determined) (see www.anzlic.org.au/icsm/publications/sp1/sp1.htm).
