Dataset citationANZLIC unique identifier: ANZCW0703003026 Title: BHEI 2000 Curnamona Province GIS CustodianCustodian: Geoscience Australia Jurisdiction: Australia DescriptionAbstract: The Curnamona Province GIS is an integrated package comprising geological, structural, metallogenic, geophysical, geochronological, geochemical and petrophysical data. The GIS encompasses the outcropping and covered portions of Palaeoproterozoic and Mesoproterozoic sequences straddling the NSW - SA border. The GIS features recent data collected by the Broken Hill Exploration Initiative. ANZLIC search words:

Free Data DownloadData qualityLineage: AGSO has worked towards understanding of the geology and geological history of the Curnamona Province in recent years with its involvement in the Broken Hill Exploration Initiative. AGSO's main contributions have been in the fields of structural geology, economic geology, particularly Cu and Au mineralisation and alteration studies, geochronology, and magnetic geophysics. Much of the primary data for these and other studies is presented for other workers. Each dataset also contains its own lineage information within the included metadata files. Positional accuracy: Accuracy of individual datasets varies. See dataset metadata included with the data release for Positional Accuracy information. Attribute accuracy: Please refer to the metadata included with the data release for information on individual dataset attribute reliability. Logical Consistency: Please refer to the metadata for individual datasets for descriptions of their Logical Consistency. Completeness: This data release contains measurements and results from work conducted by AGSO as part of the BHEI between 1995 and 2000. BHEI partners have contributed to this data release, and have additional maps and datasets available directly from them. Refer to individual metadata files for Data Completeness statements of each dataset. Contact information
