Access constraints: Not available for download Data qualityLineage: This dataset was created by Geoscience Australia based on commonwealth legislation. The data has been made from three data sources, they are: Australian maritime boundaries, Australian coastline and 'cut offs' using coordinates defined to truncate the zone. The latest version of Australian maritime boundaries data (AMBIS V1.1 2001) was used as described in legislation, to define the outer limit of the zone. For the inner limit of the zone, defined as being to Australian coastline, the ungeneralised data subsequently used in the Geodata Coast 100k 2004 product was used. Cut offs were added in using coordinates that limit the zone to certain latitudes, as defined in legislation. Positional accuracy: Positional accuracy is estimated at +/- 150 metres. This is based on the worst possible accuracy of source data used. Attribute accuracy: Attributes were added only to define the independent areas. No other attributes were included. Logical Consistency: This data was constructed to illustrate in a GIS the excisions from the migration zone. Completeness: This data was constructed from known sources and according to legislation, and thus is complete only for that legislation. Contact information
