Processed seismic data (SEG-Y format) and TIFF images for the 2007 Isa-Georgetown Deep Crustal Seismic Survey (L184), acquired by Geoscience Australia (GA) under the Onshore Energy Security Program (OESP), in collaboration with the Queensland Geological Survey. Stack and migrated data are included for lines 07GA-IG1 and 07GA-IG2 as well as CDP coordinates and metadata.

07GA-IG1 starts approximately 50 km north of Cloncurry and extends NE for a distance of 439.60 km terminating north of the Gilbert River. The terrain was a mixture of flat, open and wooded plains which had numerous soft sandy creek and river crossings.

07GA-IG2 starts approximately 10 km east of Croydon and extends in an easterly direction following the Gulf Developmental Road passing through Georgetown terminating 243.04 km later to the east of Mount Surprise.

Data quality

Lineage:

Acquistion Parameters: Seismic Reflection data acquired using 3 x Hemi 60 Vibroseis trucks and a SERCEL SN388 acquisition equipment.

3 x 60,000 lb source, vibe interval 80m, 3 x 12 second sweeps (6-64Hz, 12-96 Hz & 8-72Hz).

40m geophone group interval, split spread 4800m-0-4800m (240 Channel) for 07GA-IG1 and increased to 6000m-0-6000m (300 channel) for 07GA-IG2. Correlated record length 20 sec.

The survey was undertaken by Terrex Seismic and Geoscience Australia processed the data.
