Onshore Energy Security Program: AEM Survey Boundary and Flight-path Shape FilesNote: This metadata describes the dataset in accordance with the ANZLIC (Australia New Zealand Land Information Council) Core Metadata Guidelines Version 2. Dataset citationANZLIC unique identifier: ANZCW0703014775 Title: Onshore Energy Security Program: AEM Survey Boundary and Flight-path Shape Files CustodianCustodian: Geoscience Australia Jurisdiction: Australia DescriptionAbstract: Under Geoscience Australia's Onshore Energy Security Program (OESP), Airborne Electromagnetic (AEM) data were acquired in areas considered prospective for unconformity-related and palaeochannel-hosted uranium deposits. The program was aimed at reducing exploration risk and promoting exploration activity. The surveys were designed to reveal new information about regions by acquiring the AEM data at line spacings of one to six kilometres over relatively large areas. As well as enhancing the search for uranium and other energy sources, the survey results will be relevant in exploration for a variety of commodities and other resources, including groundwater. This data release contains the flight-paths and survey boundaries for the three AEM surveys conducted under the OESP: 1. Paterson Province (Western Australia) 2. Pine Creek (Northern Territory) 3. Frome Embayment (South Australia) ANZLIC search words:

These surveys were delivered contractors, and this product is derived completely from information already released in the public domain. Positional accuracy: Positioning was via post-processed differential GPS methods. Horizontal positional accuracy of the data is approximately 1 metre (standard deviation). Attribute accuracy: The data have been acquired and processed to a standard of best practice at the time of acquisition of each survey. Logical Consistency: Not applicable. Completeness: The data are complete. Contact information
