Lineage

Products generated from orginal dataset collected. Data processed on board vessel and in the office. Some processing details: On Vessel 1. Instruments on board the vessel were in calibration. All instruments are permanently installed. A multibeam calibration was not considered necessary. Early survey results over targets indicated previous calibration was sufficient. 2. Sound Velocity Profiles were taken on board daily and added directly into the SIS acquisition software. 3. Vessel and Instrument offsets were input into SIS acquisition software. This is a setup on board the vessel. 4. Data collection was monitored and depth 'mode' adjusted accordingly. 5. After data collection the raw.all files were transferred onto a shared drive and loaded into CARIS HIPS&SIPS software. 6. Fieldsheets were created at suitable resolution, data was swath edited and then subset edited. 7. Some data exports were made on the vessel for project needs. Off Vessel 1. Remaining processing was completed. 2. Fieldsheet BASE surfaces were created using CUBE. 3. Gridded surface products were generated from CARIS HIPS&SIPS including an xyz ASCII and geoTIF. 4. The xyz ASCII was used to generate a Raster using ESRI ArcGIS.
