Lineage

The Australian Flood Studies Database (AFSD) was commissioned by Geoscience Australia and developed by SKM in 2003-2004. The database was made available online by Geoscience Australia in 2006. Content generally occurred because local government areas have commissioned consultants to provide flood studies. The database container and distribution vehicles have changed over time. Currently the database provides metadata on Australian flood studies and information on flood risk with a digital version of the study attached where available.
