New data will be acquired over two areas separated by the Rudall River National Park. The southern area comprises approximately 9,109 line kilometres of northeast-southwest flight lines spaced 1 and 2 kilometres apart with a flying height of 120 metres above ground level. The northern area comprises approximately 18,015 line kilometres of east-west flight lines spaced 1 and 2 kilometres apart with a flying height of 120 metres above ground level.

The Western Tanami gravity survey will not proceed after Geoscience Australia received advice from Geological Survey of Western Australia of its decision to cancel the survey.

Geoscience Australia will be managing the data acquisition program in Queensland, Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Tasmania.
