2. New geochronology report and isotopic data available

Geoscience Australia Record 2018/017 by Bodorkos et al reports new SHRIMP U-Pb  zircon ages from ten samples from the Lachlan Orogen of south-central NSW.

The results provide improved age resolution of Siluro-Devonian magmatic events in the Lachlan Orogen, as well as providing zircon provenance constraints from selected sedimentary units. The work was conducted under a National Collaborative Framework agreement between Geoscience Australia and the Geological Survey of NSW. Data presented and discussed in this Record is also available via Geoscience Australia's Geochron Delivery system.
