1. Minerals Forum and Workshop in Perth to showcase Geoscience Australia's UNCOVER activities

A one day forum presented by the Australian Institute of Geoscientists (AIG) WA and Geoscience Australia will be held at The University Club at the University of Western Australia on Monday 27 November 2017 from 8.30 am. The forum will be presented by GA scientists and cover four themes: Cover and what lies beneath¿character & thickness; 3D architecture¿mapping the framework for mineral systems; 4D geodynamics and mineral systems of Australia; Mineral system footprints and toolkits for explorers.

The forum will be followed by a two day workshop from 30 November on Geophysical inversion techniques to estimate cover thickness.

2.  Minerals Forum in Canberra to showcase Geoscience Australia's UNCOVER activities

3. Update on geophysical data release

Geoscience Australia is managing the geophysical data acquisition programs in Western Australia, Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland, Tasmania and the Northern Territory on behalf of the state/territory geological surveys.

The current status of Geoscience Australia's geophysical survey data acquisition is available in a comprehensive table.
