- Two papers by Geoscience Australia authors accepted for publication in the Ore Geology Reviews Special Issue on Australian Mineral Systems are:
- Skirrow et al. (2015), The Ranger uranium deposit, northern Australia: timing constraints, regional and ore-related alteration, and genetic implications for unconformity-related mineralisation)
- Huston et al. (2015), Tectono-metallogenic systems - the place of mineral systems within tectonic evolution, with an emphasis on Australian examples
- Applied Geochemistry published a Geoscience Australia paper that showcases a data mining and covariate regression modelling technique to predict geochemistry in regions distant from control points: Wilford et al. (2015), Predictive geochemical mapping using environmental correlation)
- Greenfieldexplorer.com published an article on Geoscience Australia¿s research into the metallogenic implications of the Lachlan Orocline model for southeastern Australia by D. Huston entitled New model predicts where to explore under cover
