  The following forums have been established to manage the implementation of the Australian Government's Policy on Spatial Data Access and Pricing. They also replace the former Commonwealth Spatial Data Committee (CSDC).

• Office of Spatial Data Management (OSDM)
• ANZLIC - the Spatial Information Council
• Committee for Geographical Names in Australasia (CGNA)

Geoscience Australia represents Australia's geographic information interests internationally through participation in international forums and a series of bilateral agreements with counterpart agencies. Some ongoing activities include:

• Global Mapping Project

• The Antarctic Geographic Data Integration Project.

Geoscience Australia also participates in the following international forums:

UNRCC Australian Country Reports

Geoscience Australia has compiled Australian country reports for United Nations Regional Cartographic Conferences which outline the status of surveying, charting and mapping in Australia, using contributions from a range of stakeholders.
