Geoscience Australia has won with NOPIMS, the National Archives of Australia's Award for Digital Excellence (Medium Agency Category). Geoscience Australia's Petroleum Repository team won for their work on the web-based National Offshore Petroleum Information Management System or NOPIMS, which streamlines delivery of offshore petroleum exploration data.
NOPIMS is an important part of Geoscience Australia's role in managing and delivering over 60 years of offshore petroleum data and samples, which helps to underpin Australia's competitive advantage in attracting exploration investment from industry.
