Landsat-5 transmissions limited
Since returning to nominal operations, following an anomaly with its image data transmitter, Landsat-5 is undergoing testing to improve its future operation and predict end-of-life. During this period Lansat-5 imagining cannot be guaranteed.
Launch confirmed for Landsat Data Continuity Mission
It was recently confirmed that there will be a December 2012 launch date, signaling a commitment from NASA to build the spacecraft.
