Typically coarse, poorly sorted sediments, commonly with striated pebbles, cobbles, and boulders. Overall assemblage of sediments quite complex, ranging from aeolian sand flanking glaciers, river gravel, fine-grained mud with or without dropstones, to siliceous sediments.
