Site Information
MAW1 Station mark [jpg_34k] is the centre of a 5/8 inch threaded spigot centred on a brass pillar plate of 5/8 inch diameter. The plate is centrally secured into a 300 mm diameter, 1.4 metre high concrete pillar. The site is located on the highest rocky ground at Mawson Antarctic Research Station adjacent to the Coray building.
