2.6.1 Boat Ramp

2.6.1.1 Example 1

Location of Example: 152°33'41" East, 24°14'22" South
Distinctive Characteristics:
  • Public Boat Ramps provide access for launching or retrieval of vessels from the water.
  • Figure: 2.6.1.1 identifies that there are no private buildings in the vicinity, instead there is a large cleared area. This highlights that the Boat Ramp is a public Boat Ramp and not a private Boat Ramp.
  • Orthophotography, as illustrated in Figure: 2.6.1.1a displays evidence of a boat nearby. This can sometimes highlight that there is a Boat Ramp.
