Figure 1: Otway Basin 2020 Seismic project; 7516 km new 2D PreSDM, 6,453 km reprocessed 2D PreSDM and 18,524 km reprocessed 2D PreSTM.

In 2020 over 7,000 lkm of 2D seismic data was acquired in the offshore deep-water Otway basin. The newly acquired data provides infill to sparse legacy data, providing a grid of between 5 and 10km line spacing across the deep-water region. The data have been processing through Kirchhoff PreSDM (processing includes 2 bands of FWI and 3 tomographic updates). Additionally, to tie with inboard wells, legacy data has been processed to PreSDM (AGSO 137 and DS01 surveys); this is further supplemented by reprocessed PreSTM of legacy data to extend the interpretation from inboard to outboard.

The full dataset consists of 3,578,562.87 km of SEGY, comprising 26 different versions, and a total of 4692 individual SEGY files.

All these processed data, including full and angle stacks, AVO products and velocities, are available for download from NOPIMS www.nopims.gov.au. The multibeam, gravity and magnetic data from the newly acquired survey are also available.

PreSTM deliverables consist of final and raw full stacks, angle stacks, AVO (intercept and gradient) and velocities.

PreSDM deliverables consist of final full and angle stacks, AVO (intercept and gradient), and initial and final velocities.

Angle Ranges : a. Full: 04-36 Deg,b. Near: 04-16 Deg, c. Mid: 14-26 Deg, d. Far: 24-36 Deg, e. Ultra Far: 34-46 Deg (Only for OB2020, DS01, and OS02 Survey)*
