Consultation on potential areas for the 2019 Offshore Petroleum Acreage Release has now closed.
Submissions are being considered by the Department of Innovation, Industry and Science for determining which areas will be included as part of the 2019 acreage release.
Submissions that have not been marked as confidential will be made available for reference on Consultation Hub and on industry.gov.au prior to the announcement of the 2019 acreage release.
Consultation responses will also inform potential explorers of issues or concerns, which can then be taken into account when planning future exploration activities.
