About Charting Our Stories

Charting Our Stories is an interactive virtual tour through career journeys of Geoscience Australia staff. It profiles some of our extraordinary team, and where they found their connection to Earth science. This experience has been created by the 2023 Graduate cohort. The team managed the project from start to finish, including concept, design, coding and collecting stories. All to showcase the diversity of people and paths to careers in the Earth sciences.
There are 2 ways to experience the tour:
- You can click on the URL and go through all the points – super easy!
- You can also choose to take on an extra challenge of adding images over the base map for the full experience. You do this by downloading the ‘Charting Our Stories - Overlays [ZIP 2.3 MB]’, then follow the instructions to add them to the map!
