Temporary Employment Register
We use this Register to employ temporary staff, generally for periods of up to six months. Once registered, you may access and update your details at any time by logging on with your personalised ID and password. It's in your interests to keep your details current. You may also remove your registration if you wish. Geoscience Australia employs Australian Citizens first and foremost. Conditions of service are in accordance with the Geoscience Australia Certified Agreement 2005-08.

Cadetship Program - Temporarily suspended for 2009
Geoscience Australia's cadetship program is aimed at bright, enthusiastic people who have done well in Year 12 maths and are about to start University. The program targets residents in Canberra who have obtained a place in the Bachelor of Global and Ocean Sciences at the ANU.

Work Experience
Geoscience Australia is able to provide work experience opportunities to High School, College and University students.
